Our Purpose
The Immigrants Café is a place where students, teachers, administrators, and any immigrant members in the Los Angeles adult and career education community find information about immigrant rights and resources. We cannot provide legal advice, but we can help you find trusted organizations that can. These resources are available in multiple languages.
We believe that adult students and their families should be able to come to school and go to work without fear when they are well-informed.
We believe that immigration is human rights, and students and families should be informed that every child in our community has the right to public education regardless of race, religion, sex, economic standing, ethnic background or legal status.
